I will not return and don't recommend this place. Maybe they have regulars that appreciate them but our service was sad and the food took 40 minutes. The server, Melissa, should find a job that doesn't require customer service... as in a greeting, pleasant personality or "sorry your order took so long". My husband's food was just about cold because it waited on the counter while my fish sandwich was prepared. Either they didn't know fish was on the menu or no one ever orders it. Very poor experience!
Very good breakfast for $3.99. Waitress took good care of us and kept the coffee refills coming. And they have swirled rye toast which I love and hardly any restaurant serves.
In town over the weekend and not very many restaurants to choose from but I'm so glad we found this little gem. The absolute best pancakes anywhere! What was interesting is that customers who were having breakfast actually greeted us, locals I'll assume. Anyway it's a very comfy place to eat. Waitress was kind of sassy and funny. It's a long drive from San Antonio but we plan to go back just for breakfast soon.
I hate working here, today I realized I'm being treated unfair, I'm the one that does all the lockin cleaning and scrubbing Walls I need a new job, I never take breaks and I'm the one getting yelled at for being lazy... ha I should work somewhere else, I love everyone that works there but no I cant stand working there
I was with a group from my senior center on the way to the Vanishing Texas River Cruise making a planned breakfast stop at Crazy Gals. Our breakfast was pretty good, (the gravy was too salty). The service was a bit slow as we dropped in on them with 27 old people with two on walkers. As we were paying and getting ready to leave three of our people had not yet been served any food. They told the bus driver about what had happened. And the waitresses who as in other reviews were uninterested. One waitress was put out that they were wanting some food. It was important because there was no food on the boat and we were going straight back after the boat ride. They trooped out and got on the bus. These three people were the only Hispanics on the bus. I was stunned at the level of disinterest and likely prejudice that was shown to these good citizens.
