Amazing experience! Beautiful scenery! Great pics!
Nice cruise, didn't get to see many animals but still a lovely cruise, and the waterfall was very pretty. Staff was very friendly.
The weather wasn't cooperative but the staff made all the difference. Our original departure was canceled but we were upgraded for the next cruise without any hassle or extra fee. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We saw 8 eagles and a host of other wildlife and birds. The homemade gumbo and cookies were a special treat. Loved it and recommend.
Took the Freedom Flight tour, over 2 hours of lake views and released two screech owls & a red tailed hawk. Draw numbers to see which guest gets to release each bird. Awesome!
On Friday we took some out-of-town friends on this cruise We arrived at the dock near Burnet about 45 minutes prior to departure. We soon boarded and took seats on the top deck on plactic chairs. Next time I would take more comfortable chairs. The boat holds about 140 people but they said they keep it down to 100 max. We had 40 people on our cruise. The cruise lasted a bit over two hour and the tour guide seems like it was her first cruise and was confused much of the time. It was a hot and humid day and we were glad to get back to the air conditioned car.
